What's New?

Over the past few months, we have been busy adding the E to G topics to our disc as well as improving some of the older clips.

Improvements we have made include:

•Adding another six questions for students to do on the Simultaneous

  Equations clip

•Showing how to use tracing paper for rotations and translations

•Using a real protractor for measuring and drawing angles

•Using a real pair of compasses for bisecting lines and angles

•Giving a better method for finding the internal angle of a polygon

•Adding a separate clip to show how to add and subtract fractions 'the proper way'

•Adding a separate clip to show how to solve equations by ‘balancing’

. . . . . . and many more.

The result is that we have over fourteen and a half hours of revision clips.

In order to make things crystal clear for students we are now producing two MathsWatch revision discs.

•The Foundation CD-ROM covers the C to G topics – 134 of them.

•The Higher CD-Rom covers the A* to D topics – 140 of them.

Each disc comes in a plastic wallet as before. The Foundation one has a 4 page insert detailing all of the clips and the Higher CD-Rom has a 6 page insert detailing the clips and also giving some important formulae.
