If a school wishes to upload the content of MathsWatch to their VLE or a password-protected part of their school website then a site licence is needed.

The cost is £299 for the first year and £199 for each subsequent year.

This includes both Higher and Foundation CDs.

The purchase of a site licence grants the school the right to use MathsWatch in pursuance of the normal business of education.

This means that the school is granted the right to copy this software onto a password-protected part of its network or website (e.g. VLE) accessible by the pupils and staff.

A school does not need a site licence in order for the Maths staff to use the MathsWatch CD-ROM on their IWBs (as long as a minimum of 25 CDs have been purchased within the year). Many departments use them to help with their teaching. We do this, ourselves.

Please note: under no circumstances should MathsWatch be copied to those parts of the school’s network that are accessible by the pupils and from which they could then make further copies.
